Established nearly 20 years ago, the Love Thy Neighbor organization spearheads humanitarian efforts aimed at giving back to underserved communities across America. Its mission includes bridging the gap in educational inequities across school districts as well as providing youth character and leadership development. In order to accomplish the organization’s mission to give back, it partners with other nonprofits, school systems, and food suppliers.
Love Thy Neighbor also hosts fun events, such as the Safe Zone Activity Day in February 2021. The students at Tampa’s Just Elementary School were able to enjoy a fun-filled day of food and sports while being coached by former NFL linebacker Takeo Spikes.
